The International Council
of Swedish Industry – Näringslivets Internationella Råd (NIR) – is an
independent affiliation of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise which is
Sweden’s major business organization.The mission of NIR involves working in
close relationship with major companies in Sweden and abroad, potential
business partners, private sector organizations and also governments and
government agencies to carry out business promotion as well as development
programmes. The overall aim is to contribute to new business opportunities,
often in a long-term perspective, in markets with difficult and complex
political and commercial conditions |

VITO, the Flemish institute
for technological research is an independent research centre, a crossroads of
knowledge where the latest technologies and practical applications meet. VITO
conducts customer oriented contract research and develops innovative products
and processes in the fields of energy, environment and materials, for both the
public and the private sector.
Central to all projects are protecting the environment and encouraging
sustainable use of energy and raw materials, because VITO believes that
everyone, including those to come after us, has the right to a healthy living
and working environment.

Network for Preventive
Environmental Management (NetPEM) was established as a private non-profit
initiative in 1998, and later converted into NetPEM Public Trust registered
under the Bombay Public Trust Act No. E-1691 in February 2002. The primary
focus of the organization is to promote the implementation of Preventive
Environmental Management (PEM) strategies through advanced learning, improved
information exchanges, training, research activities and advisory services. |

Confederation of Indian
Industry (CII) - CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry
led and industry managed organisation, playing a proactive role in India’s
development process. A facilitator, CII catalyses change by working closely
with government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and
expanding business opportunities for industry through a range of specialised
services and global linkages. It also provides a platform for sectoral
consensus building and networking.
